SIGMA CAPITAL GROUP PLC("Sigma" or the "Company")
Sigma Capital Group plc (AIM:SGM), the specialist asset management and advisory group, is pleased to announce the appointment today of James Wallace (age 64) as a non-executive director of the Company.
James was appointed a director of Bodycote International plc in 1994 and has been Chairman since January 2002. He is also a director of Holidaybreak plc, NCC Group plc, The Sanctuary Group plc and is a Trustee of The Lowry Centre Trust. He was previously Deputy Chairman of Pifco Holdings plc from 1994 to 2001.*
The Company also announces that today options over 200,000 of the Company’s ordinary shares of 1p each (“Shares”), exercisable at 64p per Share immediately, were granted to James Wallace. The options were granted for nil consideration and expire on the either the tenth anniversary of the date of grant or James Wallace ceasing to be a director of the Company, whichever is the earlier.
Commenting on the appointment, Graham Barnet, Chief Executive Officer said: “We are delighted James is joining our Board at a time of significant development and opportunity for the Company. James’s breadth of experience both in industry and in the investment markets will be invaluable to us in this next stage of our growth.”
