Royal Bolton Hospital goes Live with ExtraMed Beds - 18 Apr 2008
Bolton Hospitals NHS Trust has selected ExtraMed's A&E Whiteboard and BEDS Bed Management products for use in the Royal Bolton Hospital.
The Royal Bolton, which provides over 700 beds, deals with over 1100 A&E cases every week. The A&E Whiteboard system went live in mid-December 2007 in the A&E Unit and in the Acute Medical receiving Unit (AMRU), with the BEDS system due to go-live in April 2008. The A&E Whiteboard system proved so easy to use that when ExtraMed staff arrived to train AMRU users in how to use the system, they found them already using it.
