Onzo, a software provider that helps consumers track and cut energy consumption, has partnered with SilverSpring Networks, a developer of smart grid technology, reports VentureBeat.
London-based Onzo builds online applications that allow consumers to cut power use and in doing so lower their electricity bill.
SilverSpring has been contracted to build a smart grid for 1.9 million people in New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.
