The 2009 EDEM User Conference was a great success, with representatives from over 30 organizations attending the two day event. The conference was conveniently scheduled to coincide with the world-famous Edinburgh Festival, providing plenty of options for evening and weekend entertainment.
Attendees were treated to two full days of presentations, plus a series of virtual presentations, and a poster session. The talks and posters presented by EDEM Users covered a wide variety of industry and research applications of EDEM software. Areas of application included Bulk Materials Handling, Mining Machinery, Minerals Processing, Pharmaceutical Processing, Software Development, Metals Manufacture, Road Construction Machinery, Asphalt Production, Oil & Gas Production, Food Processing, and many more—a wonderful selection of EDEM success stories.
