Optimization was the theme at the annual HEC Event, a Dutch user conference organized by Holland Engineering Consultants bv (HEC), the distributor of EDEM in the Benelux region.
In the context of Design Optimization Through Simulation, Dr. John Favier, CEO of DEM Solutions, gave an interesting presentation about simulation with EDEM. The advantages of the use of EDEM during the product design process were presented with exciting industry examples.
“I always love to see how simulation software can be used to solve problems during the design process”, said a visitor of the event. The annual HEC event was held October 21, 2009 in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands.
