Exterity to Demonstrate Benefits of Building IPTV at IP Expo - 24 Sep 2010

Exterity, the Building IPTV specialist, today announces its attendance at IP Expo, the UK's largest end-to-end IT infrastructure event, which is taking place at Earls Court 2 in London, between 20th-21st October.

Throughout the show, the company will be showcasing its market-leading range of enterprise-class IPTV solutions, demonstrating how they enable organisations to distribute High Definition digital TV and video over building, campus or wide area IP networks without impacting network performance.

"Building IPTV is rapidly gaining traction in the enterprise market as a result of its ability to improve company-wide communications through the use of video updates and live TV," says Fiona Bayle, UK Director of Sales and Business Development, Exterity. "We are looking forward to demonstrating how this technology is giving businesses absolute control of their TV and video content whilst preserving internet bandwidth by eliminating the need for streaming video from the web. In an increasingly visual age, we are enabling organisations to make substantial communications improvements without compromising the performance of their IT infrastructures."

With Building IPTV, the same network that furnishes access to business applications, email, internet or IP phone services can also supply a virtually unlimited number of users with TV from all over the world to decision makers, executive updates and training videos on-demand, and the ability for organisations to create their own internal TV channels. Building IPTV enables organisations to utilise their existing TVs, AV displays and even personal computers for TV and video delivery while supporting digital switchover and ever-higher picture quality and resolution.
