ExtraMed has announced that version 2.0 of the ExtraMed Electronic Patient Flow Management System will be released early in 2011. Andy McKee (Operations Director) said "This release will bring together a number of strands that we've been working on in the background for the last 3 years, and reinforce our position as the market leading patient flow management system. I can't wait to get this into the hands of our users."
"Among the features we'll be looking to add are: an overhaul of the main displays, real time integration with primary care, an improved menu structure, integrated care pathways, improved management of elective admissions, increased mobile working and improved reporting tools."
All will be revealed at the next ExtraMed User Group meeting on the 23rd of February.
