ExtraMed Win Tender for Patient Flow Management - 06 Dec 2010
ExtraMed beat off stiff competition to win the tender for an Electronic Patient Flow Management solution in East Lancashire NHS Trust. Following a lengthy evaluation process by the trust ExtraMed was selected to be used throughout the hospital to help the trust reduce length of stay, improve patient care and allow clinical staff to spend more time with patients.
ExtraMed will work with the trust to ensure that the system is rolled out to support end to end patient flow management across all sites by Christmas. Further work will include bi-directional integration and introduction of the system to all health care professionals inside the trust.
