I-Design Trading Update - 04 Apr 2011
i-design, the developer and supplier of the leading marketing solution for ATMs and self-service machines, enabling ATM owners to run both their own internal marketing campaigns and third party advertising, is pleased to make the following update on trading for the first six months of the current financial year, to 30 September 2011.
The Group has enjoyed a strong first half. The positive trend in media revenues, previously highlighted, has continued. Media revenues are expected to show a marked increase on both the comparable period last year and on the second half of the last financial year. In October 2010, the Group signed a major new ATM owner, YourCash Limited (“YourCash”), the largest independent provider of ATM solutions in Europe. This has boosted software sales income over the comparable period last year. YourCash has added a further 500 ATMs to i-design’s ATM and self-service estate, increasing the total licensed estate to c.17,000 and the third party advertising estate to c.9,900. The agreement has also given i-design a presence in the Netherlands. The Group’s discussions with other potential new banking customers remain very encouraging.
The Board is pleased with the Group’s trading performance in the first half of the financial year and views second half prospects very positively. Half year results are expected to be announced at the end of June.
