Landmark Contract Win with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc

i-design, which has developed and sells a unique ATM advertising solution enabling ATM owners to run both internal and third party advertising across their ATMs, is delighted to announce that it has secured a landmark contract with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc ("RBS" ).

The roll-out of ATM:ad is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2008 and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2008. Significantly, i-design has secured exclusive rights to sell third party advertising on circa 2,500 RBS ATMs located in TESCO UK stores.

This contract represents i-design's largest win to date for its ATM:ad solution. The Company has already secured contracts with Nationwide Building Society, HSBC plc and most recently, Alliance & Leicester plc. The addition of RBS, the owner of the largest number of ATMs in the UK, means that i-design has now sold ATM:ad software licences representing 14,800 ATMs, being 44% of UK ATMs operated by financial institutions.

Commenting, Ana Stewart, Chief Executive of i-design said,

"This contract is a landmark one for us and is testimony to the strength of our advertising solution, ATM:ad.  ATM:ad is a platform independent solution, which means that it can be implemented on any Windows based ATM. In addition, should ATM owners wish to sell advertising space on their ATMs to third parties, our highly experienced media sales operation can provide this service."

About i-design group plc
Based in Newport-on-Tay, Scotland, i-design has developed a market leading advertising solution for ATM network owners, such as retail banks, which enables them to run third party advertising campaigns across their ATM estates and so generate new revenues from their ATMs. The solution, which is called 'ATM:ad', was launched in 2004.

With the operational costs of ATM networks growing and significant consumer opposition to bank and building society ATM charges, the Directors believe that network owners are increasingly looking for alternative ways to generate additional revenues to make their ATMs more profitable.  The Company's solution represents an attractive proposition, particularly since the Directors believe that it is currently the only ATM advertising solution in the UK which combines both the software and media sales capability necessary to facilitate third party advertising across ATM networks.

Customers of i-design include: Nationwide Building Society, HSBC plc, Alliance & Leicester plc and as announced today, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.

i-design has secured and managed ATM advertising campaigns for a wide variety of advertisers including British Airways, Easyjet, Orange, Vodafone,  Kwik-Fit, Nivea, New Look, Orion and the Central Office of Information.  The Company joined AIM in July 2007.
