East Cheshire Go Live With GP Direct - 31 May 2011
The module aims to help East Cheshire make more efficient use of hospital resources and improve the care of patients referred directly from GP's.
The module allows the Trust to begin managing patient flow as soon as the referral is made from the GP, ensuring all staff are aware of their arrival time and status. The Trust can then ensure that suitable accomodation and services are available as soon as possible - shortening the patient's wait time and improving hospital planning.
