DEM Solutions Establishes Japan Subsidiary to Service its Growing Client Base

To support the rapid adoption of EDEM® simulation in Japan, DEM Solutions has opened a new subsidiary, DEM Solutions Japan KK.

Located in Tokyo, the new office is managed by Mr. Eiji Nagasawa, who brings many years of executive management, sales, and business development experience to DEM Solutions Japan KK. Mr Nagasawa is former senior executive with NEC and other leading companies in Japan.

“We have been providing EDEM simulation software, consulting, and support services to Japan for several years now”, commented Ian Williamson, VP Global Sales for DEM Solutions. “Japan has proven to be a solid market for EDEM, and one that we feel will benefit from a local presence.”

The growth of the EDEM simulation software business in Japan mirrors the increased demand from top-tier companies around the world for EDEM, the most advanced bulk particle engineering simulation software on the market. EDEM is deployed by a wide range of industries, including mining and minerals processing, steel, construction and agricultural machinery, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods sectors.
