ExtraMed Launch iPhone Demonstrator - 01 Jul 2011
ExtraMed have launched an iPhone demonstrator application to help hospital managers access critical patient information in their hospital. The system currently displays real time information about patients in A&E and the status of the days planned elective admissions. Andy McKee, Operations Director said "Smart Phones will allow us to realise the ambition of putting critical patient flow information in the hands of managers and clinicians in real time wherever they are. The next steps are for us to look at putting operational risk, hospital overview and infection tracking information on the iPhone."
