Sigma Innovation Fund (East of Scotland) (“SIF”), a fund managed by Sigma Technology Management Limited (“Sigma”), is pleased to announce that it has completed an investment of £300,000 in Trisent Communications Limited (“Trisent”).
Trisent specialises in location-aware mobile solutions and low-cost mobile phone tracking technology that enables the delivery of the right information, to the right people, in the right place at the right time.
This round of funding will be used to support continued product development and for expansion of the company’s commercial activities.
Mark Hogarth, Business Development Director of Sigma, said “Trisent have developed a unique approach to mobile phone tracking that will allow existing location based services to be delivered at lower cost while also enabling new applications to be developed. We are looking forward to working with Trisent as they bring this technology to market.”
