Sigma’s property asset management activities are undertaken by Sigma Property Investment Management Limited (SigmaPIM). SigmaPIM is a property fund and asset management company based in Edinburgh. It manages assets and portfolios on behalf of third party investors and currently has over £200m of assets under management.
The management team has considerable property expertise gained in the fields of property investment management; investment agency and valuation and property finance. It also has an extensive network of contacts drawn from institutions, private property companies, the investment community and property professionals.
SigmaPIM looks to achieve better investment performance by acquiring assets which present opportunities for capital appreciation and rental growth; intensively ‘work’ assets to unlock additional value for investors and to dispose of assets at the most opportune time to secure attractive returns.
Sigma also has a subsidiary Strategic Investment Management (SI) that sources, structures and operates property funds for the retail market. SI is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
