Last Sunday, we hosted a fantastic summer screening event at Empyrean, Salford, that turned out to be a memorable day for all attendees. The atmosphere was vibrant, the weather was kind, and the sense of community was palpable.
The event kicked off with a fabulous performance by a live singer, Rumbi who happens to be a resident at Empyrean and wrote a large number of her songs from her very own apartment. Her soulful tunes set the tone for the day, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
As the afternoon rolled in, guests gathered in the garden to enjoy a screening of the beloved romantic comedy, Crazy Stupid Love. Our setup included a huge screen that ensured everyone had a great view, whether they were lounging on comfortable deck chairs or relaxing on picnic rugs under the gazebos. Themed waitresses served delicious wood-fired pizzas, adding a tasty and thematic touch to the movie experience. Our full bar was also open, offering a variety of refreshing beverages to keep everyone hydrated.
As evening approached, the excitement shifted gears as we prepared for England’s first game of the Euros against Serbia. The community spirit was at its peak, with everyone coming together to support the national team. The garden was buzzing with anticipation, and as the big match played out, guests cheered and celebrated together.
We were thrilled to welcome around 150 guests throughout the day. The event was a sell-out success, with pizzas and drinks completely running out by the end of the day. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to enjoy the festivities, making the most the beautiful weather and company.
We look forward to hosting more such events in the future, continuing to bring our community together. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this day special. Here’s to more sunny days and shared celebrations at Empyrean, Salford!
