1,650 Pizzas were served at 13 Simple Life developments this September, treating residents to a tasty meal.
Now in the fourth year of bringing free pizza to residents over the course of a few weeks in Autumn; the Wood Fired Pizza Company returned to Simple Life neighbourhoods to fire up their ovens and deliver a fantastic (not to mention delicious) event.
They visited 13 developments all with apartment carparks to provide the space needed to prepare fresh pizza on site:
For the first time, the majority of these events were run on Sundays to catch residents at home and treat them to one last indulgence to set them up for the week ahead.
This move appeared to be a hit, with large queues of residents at the gazebos lured by the smell of fresh dough!
We were also delighted to bring back our Empyrean event this year, bigger and better than before. The stunning stretch tents were re-installed in the garden area for residents to enjoy an afternoon of fun not far from their apartment doors.
In addition to the Wood Fired Pizza and drinks available, we had some superb entertainment lined up from a brilliant local band The DeeVines, to garden games and some eye-catching Mirror Men with pop-locking dance moves to get you in the party mood. Our Simple Life ice cream van also made an appearance to offer up something sweet.
We welcomed residents to the garden throughout the afternoon, and was lovely to see so many soaking up the atmosphere (and a bit of Manchester sun) underneath the canopy.
As always, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that joined in our Autumn events this year; we aim to bring our communities together and hope to spread a little joy to your neighbourhoods.
