Sigma expands Edinburgh team to support PRS housing offering

PRS, residential development and urban regeneration company, Sigma Capital Group plc (“Sigma” or “the Company”), has expanded its Edinburgh team with four new starters across its development, finance and administration teams. The new starters join in line with the Company’s growth in PRS, including Scotland, following the £43m Sigma Scottish PRS fund launch earlier in the 2019.

Kenny Brewster has joined Sigma from Knight Frank as associate property director, assisting with the development and delivery of PRS sites for the Sigma PRS Scottish Fund.

Kenny said: “Sigma offers a massively unique and exciting challenge. Not only is the Company going through a great period of growth, but the offering is perfectly placed to address some of the issues currently facing the UK housing market and to establish itself as the key player in the ever-developing build to rent sector. As Scotland becomes the next perfect piece of the puzzle, I look forward to contributing and working alongside such a dynamic team.”

In the finance department, Pippa Coulson has joined as group financial controller. The new role within the Company will see Pippa working closely with the finance director and the rest of the finance team ensuring the corporate governance of the group and supporting business growth.

Pippa said: “I am delighted to be joining the Sigma team at such an exciting time in its development when it is growing so quickly and making a positive difference to many people’s lives through the products it develops.”

Katherine Buckle has joined the Company as accounts assistant, working on a wide range of accountancy duties. She said: “As a new graduate I was looking for a company to further develop my skills and knowledge. I was attracted to working at Sigma due to the business model, success to date and the future growth plans.  It’s great working for a company that gives back to the community and makes a difference – I am proud to work at Sigma.”

Executive assistant, Maria Law, has been appointed to assist with the day-to-day operations of the office and is also very proud to be part of a company that is growing, describing the PRS homes offering as, ‘affordable and stunning.’

Meanwhile, in Manchester, Mihai Motoc has joined the finance team as management accountant after making the move from Urban Bubble.
