Leading build-to-rent provider, Sigma, has launched a new initiative, practicing health and wellbeing for local schools and residents.
Sigma’s rental brand, Simple Life, has partnered with one of its residents, James Lomax, founder of mobile escape rooms, Clever Cogz, to launch the ‘Escape with Simple Life’ Roadshow.
Funded entirely by Simple Life, the mobile escape rooms will travel across the country to 8 schools throughout November and December, allowing Simple Life residents and local schools to experience Clever Cogz.
Stationed in the grounds of school yards near to its developments on Fridays and Saturdays or Sunday and Mondays, groups of Simple Life residents will be tasked with escaping the various themed rooms in groups of eight at the weekend then on the week days, groups of year four to year six school children will have access to the exercises, which promote the importance of mental health, wellbeing, team building and important everyday life skills, as well as having a lot of fun.
Speaking about the event, Niamh Waldron, ESG Director at Simple Life, said: “We are acutely aware of the impact the pandemic has had on general health and wellbeing, and with over 4,400 homes across the country we were keen to do something for our residents and the local community to support recovery. Our roadshow offers an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled interactive experience with a focus on wellbeing, in school and close to home! It is super to see our idea take physical shape and we are excited to get underway. We really hope everyone has fun and gains something positive from the experience.

Simple Life residents and pupils alike will find themselves in a cargo plane crash, landing in the Amazon rainforest where they will need to find the lost temple and collect all the wellness crystals to escape to safety!
The roadshow kicks off at St Theresa’s Primary School in Sheffield on November 7th and will provide pupils and residents across five Simple Life developments in Sheffield and Doncaster with the Clever Cogz experience.
