Countryside, the UK’s leading mixed-tenure developer, is pleased to be making progress at its Isleport Grove housing development in Highbridge, where it is working with its partners to bring a range of affordable and high-quality homes to the area.
Construction work is now underway at the site, located on the eastern fringe of Highbridge, which is set to benefit from 248 new homes, 30% of which will be affordable and 35% for the Private Rented Sector. The first homes on site, a collection of 2-4 bedroom properties, are set to be complete by Autumn 2023.
As part of the scheme, Countryside is working with Sigma Capital Group, one of the leading providers in the build-to-rent market, to deliver 87 build-to-rent units at the development under their private rental brand, Simple Life. Simple Life delivers properties in areas experiencing an undersupply of high-quality, professionally managed rental homes.
Countryside and Sigma have been developing their partnership in the South West region in recent months, announcing their first deal together at the developer’s nearby Strawberry Grange scheme in Bridgwater at the end of last year.

This latest milestone marks a positive step for Countryside’s ambitious development plans in the South West, as they continue to progress their other schemes in Bath, Bridgwater and Bristol. Countryside is set to launch its show homes at both Isleport Grove and Strawberry Grange in spring/summer 2023.
