Celebrating 5 Years of Partnership with GreenTheUK

Sigma is delighted to celebrate 5 years of partnership with GreenTheUK, supporting local biodiversity, communities and nature recovery across the UK.

Together, our partnership has delivered meaningful change in areas local to Simple Life Homes communities including:

  • 4,000 climate-resilient trees planted in UK woodlands
  • 560 trees provided to 4 local schools
  • 3 hectares of wildflower meadows restored
  • 600 trees planted across NHS sites
  • 24 new green spaces created in schools
  • 1,000 sqm of peatland protected in the South-West

We’re delighted to continue working together year after year to expand this impact, enhance biodiversity, and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals of Life on Land and Climate Action.

This work would not be possible without the expertise of GreenTheUK’s charity partners: Royal Forestry Society, Buglife, Centre for Sustainable Healthcare and Somerset Wildlife Trust.

Niamh, Sigma and Simple Life’s Social Impact and Sustainability Director comments: “Sigma Capital Group and Simple Life Homes are delighted to partner with Green the UK as we strive to target our biodiversity, nature and tree planting goals, understanding the benefits to people and the planet. We look forward to continued projects and are very pleased to be ahead of our UN SDG commitment and targets in this area, and can now review and extend this ambition.”
