Sigma Capital’s Simple Life Homes, (the UK’s leading build to rent (BTR) provider focussed on family housing), and Edinburgh Hockey Club are delighted to announce a sponsorship deal, designed to enhance the club’s inclusion and wellbeing agendas.
The club is a non-profit making Community Amateur Sports Club, based in the South of Edinburgh. It exists to provide the health and wellbeing benefits of sport to as many people in the community as possible.
Operating across the UK, Simple Life is focussed on building strong communities, providing support for local activities and groups.
Commenting on the new partnership, Phil Doggart, President of EHC said “Simple Life’s support means we can start doing things that have been beyond our means. Our Participation for All programme is in its infancy and we can now be more confident of increasing opportunities for people from the age of 8 to 80 to get involved.”
Simple Life and EHC share an ethos of creating healthy, happy and safe communities. Aligned with Simple Life’s ethos of “Settle for More”, Simple Life is encouraging the hockey club to be ambitious with its outreach programme.

The club will be looking to improve player retention rates, reducing teenager dropout, in particular. A return to hockey initiative, a hardship fund and a tailored approach for older members of the community should further drive the inclusion agenda.
