Sigma had another incredible evening at the Property Week RESI Awards, taking away two awards for the second year in a row!
Simple Life was awarded Landlord of the Year (private and social), which is no mean feat considering the volume of competition entering the single family housing build to rent market space! The entry recognised Sigma’s journey, from being the originator and pioneer provider of UK Build to Rent Single Family Housing, to setting up its own private rental brand, Simple Life in 2016, to now the biggest player by quite some distance. Simple Life has gained significant attention from the investor market in recent years, including those within The PRS REIT plc, EQT Exeter and Sigma’s acquisition by PineBridge Benson Elliott LLP last year.
The entry also focused on commercial and financial highlights over the past 12 months, a plethora of environmental and social initiatives and most importantly, very high levels of customer satisfaction.
Additionally, Simple Life London development, Beam Park, with Countryside Properties won PRS Deal of the Year Award. Countryside partnered with Simple Life Homes and Be First (affordable rental provider), to deliver a total of 677 PRS homes, alongside thousands of homes for open market sale. Critical to the delivery of these homes is the shared ambition for an inclusive neighbourhood with a variety of homes for people to choose from.
Sigma’s regional partner, Ascend properties also picked up Sales and Lettings Agent of the Year Award.
With many wins already this year and numerous other shortlisted entries announced, Simple Life is sweeping up at this season’s awards!
