Over the course of 2017, Sigma Capital Group will be supporting Salford Loaves and Fishes, a local charity drop-in centre providing valuable support for homeless people within the area. The centre offers hot food, showers, clothing and laundry along with a listening ear and companionship to those who need support with debt, addition or basic life journey tasks to help them onto a better situation.
Sigma has committed £5,000 which will be used to purchase new laptop computers for the centre. These computers will be used to train the homeless in basic IT skills in order to prepare them for finding new employment opportunities. From a quality CV, giving people information on job opportunities, IT skills and empowering their own decisions, it is hoped these will be a valuable support mechanism for those who are keen to better their opportunities in life.
Sigma’s Manchester office are also keen to dedicate time to help out at the centre, get best use out of the IT and help out at various events throughout the year.
